Nicolas Thienpont was appointed manager in 2002. Ten years after his arrival, Château Larcis Ducasse was promoted to Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru in 2012.
Terroir: limestone-clay plateau on asteriated limestone, southfacing terraces – very shallow loamy clay soils on asteriated limestone, limestone-clay colluvial soils on hillsides
